By using this website or booking our photography services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

JanaVM reserves the right to alter itineraries and/or timetables should it be necessary, due to adverse weather and or other related conditions. JanaVM is not responsible for expenses and/or other related costs due to factors outside of its control, such as flight delays, changes and or cancellations, injuries, weather, war, natural disasters etc. and/or other unforeseeable matters. You are responsible for providing us with the correct contact information and related details so that we can keep you informed in the event of changes made to the services booked.

These Terms apply to all use of our website and photography services, including bookings, contracts, and online communication.

2. Services

We provide professional photography services, including but not limited to:

Portrait and lifestyle photography

Wedding and event photography

Commercial and artistic projects

Details of services, packages, and pricing are described on our website or in a written quotation.

3. Pick-up & Drop-off Services

JanaVM offers pick up and drop-off services for photoshoots in nature location up to 3 people, in a distance of 10km around Rovaniemi City Center. Or otherwise described in product details/ booking form.

You as the traveler are responsible for your pick-up, this includes providing JanaVM with your pick-up location in time as well as being ready at the correct time for the pick-up for your photoshoot.

We will provide you with information about your pick-up time on forehand through email or text message  which is provided upon booking. If you are unsure when to be ready for your scheduled photoshoot then please contact us.

Missing the pick-up does not entitle you to a refund of the price paid for the services. You are responsible to be ready for pick up at the assigned pick-up point from the start of the pick-up time in order to not miss the photographer when she arrives to pick you up.

4. Booking and Payment

A booking is confirmed only after you receive written confirmation from us (by email or signed agreement).

A deposit or booking fee may be required to secure your session. This will be specified in your invoice or contract.

The remaining balance is typically due before the day of the session (unless otherwise agreed).

All prices include VAT and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed.

Failure to pay invoices on time may result in cancellation of the session and/or withholding of final images.

5. Cancellations/ No-shows and Rescheduling

• Client Cancellations:

If you cancel your photography session within 48 hours of the scheduled time, or fail to show up, you will forfeit your payment. No refunds or credits will be issued

If you cancel more than 48 hours before your session, you are eligible for a refund. Please note that  processing fees are strictly non-refundable and will be deducted from your total refund amount.

• Photographer Cancellations:

In the unlikely event we must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, we will offer to reschedule or fully refund any fees paid.

6. Delivery of Images

Edited images will be delivered digitally (via online gallery or download link) within the agreed timeframe, typically 2 to 7 days after the session.

Raw, unedited files are not provided, unless explicitly agreed.

Clients are responsible for downloading and safely backing up their images once delivered.

7. Copyright and Usage Rights

All photographs remain the copyright of Jana Van Moer Photography.

Commercial use, resale, or publication by the client requires written permission or a commercial license.

Jana Van Moer Photography retains the right to use images for portfolio, website, or marketing purposes unless the client explicitly withdraws consent in writing.

8. Model Release and Privacy

By participating in a photography session, the client and any participants consent to being photographed.

If you do not wish your images to be used publicly (e.g., website, social media, exhibitions), you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Our processing of personal data complies with the EU GDPR and the Finnish Data Protection Act (Tietosuojalaki 1050/2018).

9. Liability

We take great care to deliver high-quality images and a professional experience.

However, we are not liable for:

• Circumstances beyond our control (weather, illness, venue restrictions, equipment failure, etc.)
• Loss or damage of images after digital delivery
• Minor variations in editing style, color, or artistic interpretation

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law.

Any disputes will first be attempted to be resolved amicably between the parties.

If no resolution is found, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent Finnish court.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The most recent version will always be available on this page and will take effect immediately upon publication.
