What is an Adventure Session
Most people instantly cringe when they hear ‘photoshoot’. It sounds like it might come with awkward prom-style posing and someone whispering ‘say cheese!’ into your ear. That’s why I prefer the term ‘adventure session’.
Sure, it technically is a photoshoot. I like to think of it as an epic adventure or a magical date night. (Except there’s me and my camera tagging along.)
You're already doing your best to bottle up the magic. Those everyday phone pics? Total treasures.
Now imagine portraits where everyone is in the frame, including you. Images that feel like your family sounds: laughter, love, and a bit of delightful chaos.
Below you can find carefully curated base packages for a session in the nature surrounding Rovaniemi, and the snow hotel.
Customised sessions (different area in Lapland/Finland, longer shooting time,...) are definitely possible. Please reach out, together we will plan something!

A base package to make your decision making easier, without the fuss and process of inquiring. Modifications are a possibility if you stay outside of Rovaniemi area or have a specific location in mind (That super cool igloo you stay in).

Snowhotel
- Base package
This location is straight out of a scene from Alice in Wonderland. Plus your pictures are extra unique, the snow sculpture theme changes every year! Ideal location for a super fun shoot. Smiles guaranteed! The area itself gives way for some extra photos on the frozen lake.

Budget friendly
The price is made not to break the bank, but still get professional photos & all that comes with.
Transfer is included within an area of 10km around Rovaniemi city centre.
Time efficient
These packages already have a fixed location, therefore the duration has been carefully calculated. A 1 hour to 1 and a half hour session. Please note that transfer time is not included in this timeframe, so reserve more time.
Perfect for when you still have some other plans that day.

FAQ
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
A family/ couple centered photoshoot can be a relaxed and fun time, not an acting class. A great portrait captures far more than how you look. I aim to capture natural moments and not staged and fake. If you are a bit nervous and don't know what to do, no worries. This is usually the case! Together we create a comfortable environment so smiles and play come naturally.
If you have certain ideas such as a mood board, please show me during the shoot. Together we will look what we can do to create the same aesthetic. Clothing and props are all up to you. I do recommend matching colour tones for everyone in the pictures.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Is there such a thing as bad weather? We can make it a fun experience with great pictures no matter the weather. Ofcourse, when you have your eyes set on certain circumstances we can try to reschedule depending on what we have agreed beforehand. This is applied more to regular photo sessions aimed at people visiting Lapland and with a tight schedule. Wedding photos, events, branding material... can be delayed to get that perfect light.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Yes! I have made it my mission the past years in Lapland, to know the perfect places all around. Whether you want a shoot between snowy trees, big open fells or maybe in that super unique accommodation that you are staying at. Please note that in the base package with transfer the location has been set already. This is one of the most picturesque locations around Rovaniemi. Open scenic views, forest and for the brave a look out point to climb.
Are the travel expenses included in your sessions?
The base package has all included costs when staying in a 10km radius of Rovaniemi and a transfer option to and from the session location for up to 3 people.
When modified or customising your own session, the travel expenses will change when staying farther away from Rovaniemi. This is based on travel time and fuel costs.
